The Certification Mark logo shown at the top of the page is the figure of Yogacharya BKS Iyengar in Natarajasana in front of the Ramamani Iyengar Yoga Memorial Institute in Pune. It is available to all certified Iyengar Yoga teachers who are true to his method and who qualify to use it. It is necessary to have this trade mark to become a teacher member of IYA(UK) and to advertise yourself as an Iyengar Yoga teacher. It is a symbol of quality. Any yoga teacher who does not display this symbol is not a bona fide Iyengar teacher. |
